Trevor Plouffe plays for the Minnesota Twins. His glove, apparently, was playing for the New York Jets on Monday night.

Plouffe made a tidy play over at the hot corner and was about ready to polish it off with a throw to first when his motion of grabbing the ball and firing his throw was flummoxed. The culprit was none other than his glove, which basically ate the ball.

Plouffe made a couple of noble attempts, to no avail.
