Aaron Dobson Is Active for Patriots, Brandon Bolden Joins Danny Amendola, Rob Gronkowski Among Inactives

Aaron DobsonAaron Dobson will make his NFL debut against the Jets on Thursday night, and the Patriots will need him.

As expected, Danny Amendola, who may miss up to six weeks, and Rob Gronkowski are inactive for Thursday’s game. Running back Brandon Bolden joins them on that list, unable to play for a second straight week as he battles a lingering knee injury.

Tom Brady will need all the help he can get at receiver with both Amendola and Gronk out, making Dobson’s ability to play that much more valuable. He along with fellow rookies Josh Boyce and Kenbrell Thompkins should play a big role in the offense against the Jets.
