Four Patriots players will be a little lighter in the wallet after last Thursday night’s game against the Jets.
Alfonzo Dennard, Vince Wilfork and Michael Buchanan were each fined $7,875 for participating in a fight late in New England’s 13-10 victory over New York, according to multiple reports. The fight occurred after Aqib Talib was hit below the knees by Nick Mangold as the cornerback was jumping out of bounds following an interception.
Willie Colon was fined $26,250 for making physical contact with a referee during the fight and $7,875 for punching an opponent. D’Brickashaw Ferguson was fined $15,000 for punching an opponent.
Chandler Jones was fined $15,750 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Geno Smith. He and Buchanan sandwiched the Jets quarterback on the play.
