Aqib Talib, Alfonzo Dennard, Matthew Slater Missing From Patriots Practice

Alfonzo Dennard, Aqib TalibFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots were low on cornerbacks during practice on Monday afternoon.

Alfonzo Dennard was in Nebraska for his court hearing and Aqib Talib was missing from the portion of practice open to the media for undisclosed reasons. Talib did not appear to get injured in the Patriots-Jets game, but he did get hit out of bounds at the knee by Nick Mangold, sparking a fight on the sideline.

Matthew Slater was also missing from practice. He broke his hand, according to Ben Volin of The Boston Globe. Among notable injured players, Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski were both participating.

Ryan Mallett, Kanorris Davis and Justin Green were sporting black practice player of the week jerseys.
