Arizona Cardinals Create Prototype Foam Finger for Rashad Johnson, Reflects Gruesome Injury (Photo)

If Rashad Johnson and the Arizona Cardinals didn’t laugh, they’d cry.

In one of the most bizarre and gruesome injuries to come out of the 2013 season, the Cardinals safety lost part of his middle finger while taking on the New Orleans Saints. Johnson discovered he was missing part of his finger after he took his glove off his right hand and saw that not all of his finger came out of it. The thought of that is sickening enough, but Johnson went the extra mile and tweeted out a photo of the damage.

Now, the Arizona Cardinals are having a little fun with the injury. The team’s official Twitter account tweeted out a picture of a modified foam finger for their safety.
