When you’ve got to go, you’ve got to go.

As NFL Network was getting ready to kick off its first Thursday Night Football game of the season, announcer Brad Nessler heard the call of the wild. So while Geno Smith led the Jets onto the turf at Gillette Stadium to take on the Patriots, Nessler informed the crew he had to make a brief pit stop — and was captured saying so on air.

“What time we–?” Nessler can be heard saying on a hot mic. “OK, I’ve got to go to the little boys’ room for a second.”

After watching the Patriots’ hideous 13-10 victory, Nessler probably wished he had stayed in the bathroom. That would have spared him having to watch the Patriots’ receivers repeatedly drop Tom Brady‘s passes. But Nessler pulled off the rest of the broadcast like the pro that he is.
