Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips was called out in the most unique ways we’ve ever seen during Saturday’s game against the Brewers.

During the first inning, Phillips laid down a sacrifice bunt down the first base line, and Brewers first baseman Yuniesky Betancourt fielded the ball and was in position to make a simple tag as Phillips made his way to first base. Phillips had other ideas though, as he turned around before reaching Betancourt.

Betancounrt, uninterested in chasing Phillips down the line, was eventually able to get the out when Phillips was kind enough to run back and high five the first baseman’s glove — which was holding the ball — and tag himself out.
