The trend that began in Northern California last season has made its way to SoCal.

On Monday, the Los Angeles Clippers became the latest NBA team to announce that they will be debuting a short-sleeved alternate jersey this season.

Sleeves aside, the new uniforms are a departure from the team’s usual look. Royal blue is replaced by powder blue, a shade the team hasn’t worn since 1985, and the shorts are nautical-themed, using flags to spell out “L-A-C” down the side.

The Clippers will hit the court in the new unis for the first time on Oct. 14, in a preseason game against the Nuggets.
