Colin Kaepernick, Clay MatthewsColin Kaepernick had a 34-28 victory to point to after the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers finished up on Sunday. But he’s added some words, too.

Kaepernick got drilled out of bounds by Clay Matthews on a third-quarter scramble Sunday, drawing a penalty flag. A 49ers player ended up getting penalized in the little fight that broke out afterward, too, though, meaning Green Bay didn’t have to pay for the late hit (well, except when the referees then messed it up and gave the 49ers an extra down).

Regardless, Kaepernick wanted to let it be known that a big blow from Matthews wasn’t enough to shake him, even after a week when Matthews had warned that he was gunning for the passer.

“I’m not worried about what people are saying,” the quarterback said, according to 49ers.com. “If intimidation is your game plan, I hope you have a better one.”

Kaepernick had 412 yards and three touchdowns on 27-of-39 passing on Sunday. He also rushed seven times for 22 yards.
