Danny AmendolaFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots had some key players missing from their walkthrough practice on Tuesday morning.

Danny Amendola and Shane Vereen were not spotted as the players walked out to the Gillette Stadium practice field. Vereen was not expected to be present after breaking his wrist in Sunday’s game. Amendola, however, was a limited participant in Monday’s practice with a groin injury.

Amendola reaggravated a previous groin injury Sunday. He came back into the game in the second half and gutted out an impressive performance against the Bills.

The rest of the Patriots were accounted for on Tuesday. A.J. Francis, who signed to the practice squad on Monday, was present. Quentin Sims was released Tuesday to make room for Francis, according to a source.
