Brandon Meriweather may never learn his lesson.

The former Patriots safety, now playing with the Redskins, delivered a helmet-to-helmet hit to Packers running back Eddie Lacy, causing the rookie to leave the game with a concussion. Meriweather gave a similar hit to Green Bay’s reserve running back, James Starks. Meriweather left the game after that collision and is also out with a concussion.

It’s almost amazing a head-hunter like Meriweather is still in the NFL with the league’s new rules banning those kind of hits. Check out Meriweather’s hit that knocked Lacy out of the game in the GIF below via SBNation.
