Floyd Mayweather Jr. has once again upped the ante by logging the biggest pre-fight payout guarantee. He’s locked in for a record $41.5 million for his Sept. 14 fight against Canelo Alvarez, promoter Richard Schaefer confirmed Wednesday, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Mayweather was just shy of Mike Tyson‘s record, $33 million, with his previous guaranteed payout of $32 million last spring. The boxer has had no trouble bringing in the cash since his release from prison, although — if rumors can be believed — he also has no trouble spending it.
