This could become a really fun yearly tradition.
This season, the Jets’ “butt fumble” came two months early. Geno Smith was dropping back when Titans defensive tackle Karl Krug came charging. Smith tried to put the football behind his back at the same time Krug got the signal caller in his grasp.
The ball clanged off Smith’s rear end and into New York’s end zone. Krug recovered for a Tennessee touchdown.
