Brynden Trawick‘s NFL debut went about as poorly as possible.
The undrafted rookie defensive back was lining up a block on a punt return during the Ravens’ season opener Thursday night, but he instead ended up laying out Jacoby Jones — his own teammate.
Jones, who burst onto the scene during last year’s Super Bowl win and has since become one of Joe Flacco‘s top receiving targets, was slow to get up after the hit, and he was taken to the locker room with what appeared to be a knee injury.
