Craig Breslow entered the game saddled with the task of retiring the Orioles’ biggest bats, and he rose to the occasion.

Coming in relief of Brandon Workman, the Roberto Clemente Award nominee sat down Chris Davis, Adam Jones and Nick Markakis to keep the game tied heading into the top of the eighth inning. While the Sox ultimately fell to the O’s, it was just the latest successful outing for the left-hander in a long line of strong appearances for the Red Sox this season.
