Don’t expect Sen. John McCain to host a pool party for the Dodgers any time soon.
The Dodgers ruffled some feathers Thursday when they celebrated their NL West-clinching victory by splashing around in the outfield pool at Arizona’s Chase Field. It was seen by some as a sign of disrespect, especially since the Dodgers and Diamondbacks had some heated moments earlier this season.
McCain was really disgruntled, though. The Arizona senator blasted the Dodgers on Twitter following the controversial celebration, even agreeing with an article that labeled the Dodgers, “idiots.” (And not in the positive sense, Boston fans.)
