John WallIn 2011, when John Wall was in his rookie year with the Washington Wizards, he lived downtown and said he wasn’t quite ready to spring for a mansion.

“A house is better, in the future, down the road,” he said then, according to the Washington Post. “Right now, I’m satisfied with this.”

That satisfaction has waned now that Wall has signed a max contract. After locking up his five-year, $80 million deal in July, he has pivoted quickly and bought a mansion in Potomac, Md., that has just about everything a young player needs.

Wall’s $4.9 million place has all the usual — eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a six-car garage, a home theater, a pool, an outdoor grill, a fitness room and a hot tub (with waterfall!). But the 17,350-square-foot mansion has one other thing that should put Washington execs at ease: a basketball court.

It’s not quite full-court, but Wall can certainly work on his shooting without driving in to the office.

Take a look at Wall’s unique digs.
