Marquice Cole, Will Svitek Not Spotted During Beginning of Patriots Practice

Marquice ColeFOXBORO, Mass. — The window of Patriots practice open to the media is over and three Patriots players were not spotted.

Leon WashingtonWill Svitek and Marquice Cole, all of whom were not cut on Saturday afternoon, were not out on the Gillette Stadium practice field to begin the session. There were five players spotted that are not on the Patriots’ roster. They were in uniform Nos. 36, 41, 49, 53 and 98.

Ben Volin of The Boston Globe reported Justin Green, who wore No. 41 in training camp, signed to the practice squad. Marcus Forston, who wore No. 98 during training camp, signed to the practice squad, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. Jeff Tarpinian, who wore No. 53 during training camp, signed to the practice squad, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

Update 3:58 p.m.: The Patriots have released Washington.
