Kobie Brant has nothing on this guy.
An incredibly optimistic fan sent a hand-written letter to the New Orleans Pelicans offering to play for the NBA team for the low, low price of $1 million. To make it clear he — we assume it’s a he — means business, he informs the Pelicans he is better than Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Kobe — er, “Kobie” — Bryant.
“How would you like a 1 mill a year superstar better than kd Lebron James Mj Kobie brant,” the letter opens. “I am serious. I’m top notch. I haven’t played in 5 years and I can do it all. Need to practice I am rusty.”
The anonymous writer includes a long, mostly illegible list of his various basketball skills, insisting that “Im what you need for toatel success. I play hurt sick and still win. See ya.”
Whoever you are, sir or madam, we’re confident we will “see ya” on an NBA court somewhere. We always thought Kobie was overrated, anyway.
