Ray RiceBaltimore Ravens fans and fantasy football owners will be pleased that star running back Ray Rice is making progress in his recovery from an injury suffered in Week 2.

In fact, we might see the 26-year-old on the field on Sunday when the 2-1 Ravens travel north to play the Buffalo Bills.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, “Rice was close to playing in Sunday’s 30-9 win over the Houston Texans, but he was held out one week after getting hurt without being hit during a win over the Cleveland Browns.

Rice told The Baltimore Sun that he intends to play Sunday.”

The Bills would be a good opponent for Rice to come back against because the AFC East club has given up a league-high 155 yards per game on the ground this season. Buffalo allowed 182 yards rushing to the New York Jets in a 27-20 loss in Week 3, 149 of which were gained by Bilal Powell.

Despite not being on the field last week, there’s no need to be concerned about Rice’s durability. He’s missed only one regular season game since the start of the 2009 season.
