Alfonzo Dennard was back in court on Monday for a probation hearing stemming from his July arrest.

Dennard, who was arrested on July 11 on suspicion of DUI, was found in violation of his parole during a hearing in Lincoln, Neb., on Monday, according to Jonathan Edwards of the Lincoln Journal Star. He will remain on probation until his sentencing on the violation on Dec/ 5.

The Patriots’ cornerback admitted to violating the terms of his probation during the hearing as well as drinking before being pulled over by Lincoln police in July.

Dennard was sentenced to two years probation in April after he was found guilty of assault on a police officer just days before the 2012 NFL draft. He is also supposed to serve 30 days of jail time as part of his sentencing in that case.

Monday’s court appearance was only in connection to his probation hearing and not the DUI case. He is due back in Lincoln court on Oct. 8 on the DUI charge.
