Jeff GreenCeltics fans should be able to hear their team on the radio this season after all.

The Celtics are close to an agreement to have their games broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub, CSNNE reports. Terms of the deal, which could be announced as early as next week, were not disclosed.

“Despite the Celtics fielding a team that’s not expected to be among the NBA’s elite this season, there was a significant amount of interest in broadcasting their games after it was announced earlier this summer that the C’s and WEEI could not come to terms on a new contract,” CSNNE’s A. Sherrod Blakely reports.

The Sports Hub already carries the Bruins and Patriots games, but navigating any schedule conflicts should not be difficult. Several radio and television outlets in other markets manage to broadcast multiple teams on the same network in the same season.

WEEI had been the Celtics’ radio home since 2005.
