Grant HillGrant Hill better start practicing calling people his “main man.”

Following in the footsteps of Ahmad Rashad, Hill will serve as the new host of a resurrected NBA Inside Stuff, the weekly basketball-themed TV show that hit its peak of popularity in the 1990s. Inside Stuff went off the air in 2005, but Hill will be the face of the show’s new era.

Kristen Ledlow, a radio host out of Atlanta, will be Hill’s co-host, serving as a new generation’s Willow Bay or Summer Sanders. The show will air for 26 episodes during the season, beginning Nov. 2 on NBA TV.

In addition to interviewing players and narrating offbeat features, Hill will also serve as an analyst for TNT and NBA TV.

Hill, 40, retired from the NBA this past spring after 18 seasons. He had been rumored to be under consideration to take a front office job with the Phoenix Suns, his last NBA team.
