Michelle BeadleMichelle Beadle left ESPN some 16 months ago for a pay raise and her own show on NBC Sports. Now that the low-rated SportsNation knockoff has been cancelled, though, it appears Beadle might be on the move back to Bristol, Conn.

NBC announced that it was cancelling The Crossover earlier this week after poor ratings continued to cripple the show. Beadle is now in the process of leaving NBC Sports and it seems likely she’ll return to ESPN, according to The Big Lead,

Beadle and NBC Sports boss Sam Flood have been at odds for some time, but matters only got worse after she made some critical comments about the network during a recent podcast appearance, according to the report, The relationship between the two has grown untenable since the show’s cancellation, though, making her exit all the more likely.

The report also says that, at this point, Beadle’s return to ESPN isn’t imminent but that it’s not a matter of if but when she rejoins the network.
