Bill BelichickThe Patriots are ready to get the 2013 season underway, but, while their roster is pretty much set for Week 1, they’re still taking a look at who’s available on the free agent market.

The Patriots worked out 11 free agents at Gillette Stadium on Friday, according to ESPN’s Field Yates, including three quarterbacks and former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer.

Dwyer is the headliner of the group, considering he was the Steelers’ feature back at the end of the 2012 season. He won the starting job in Week 7 after both Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman failed to give the running game any sort of spark. Dwyer carried the ball 156 times for 623 yards and two touchdowns on the year. He posted a pair of back-to-back 100-yard games in his first two starts but struggled to carry the load the rest of the season.

Former Packers quarterbacks Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman were also in for visits on Friday. The other quarterback was Austin Davis, who went undrafted out of Southern Mississippi in 2012 and spent training camp with the St. Louis Rams last year.

Bill Belichick likes to bring players in to gauge what the team might be working with in case of injury. With just two quarterbacks on the roster, it’s likely he was taking inventory on who’s out there.

The Patriots also worked out three defensive linemen, two wide receivers and two more running backs. Check out the rest of the players in the list below.

Josh Bellamy, wide receiver, Louisville
Damien Berry, running back, Miami
Chad Bumphis, wide receiver, Mississippi State
Sione Fua, defensive tackle, Stanford
Cameron Marshall, running back, Arizona State
Clinton McDonald, defensive tackle, Memphis
NT Andre Neblett, defensive tackle, Temple
