Many people wanted to throw down with Riley Cooper after video of the Eagles wideout using racial slurs at a June concert hit the Internet earlier this summer, but very few believed a teammate would be one of them.

Cornerback Cary Williams and Cooper reportedly got into a scuffle during a non-contact drill at Eagles practice on Thursday, according to Philadelphia media members. The cause of the scuffle is unknown and it was quickly broken up by teammates, including Michael Vick and Brandon Boykin.

Williams was one of several Eagles players who expressed concern about being able to accept Cooper as a teammate following his remarks. Patriots fans will remember Williams as the player who picked a fight with rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson during joint practices in Philadelphia to “send a message” to the Patriots, who he called “dirty.”
