Robert Kraft and his family followed time-honored rules of hospitality when Brazil’s soccer hero of the moment came to town.
The Kraft family gave Neymar a personalized New England Patriots jersey on Tuesday night. The owner of the local NFL franchise made the welcoming gesture ahead of Brazil’s game against Portugal at Gillette Stadium.
Neymar’s name and number appear on the back of the jersey, and the Patriots took a photo of the Barcelona and Brazil star holding the jersey and posted it on their Instagram account.
Neymar responded by thrilling the 62,310 in attendance with a virtuoso performance. He scored one goal and helped set up two more in Brazil’s 3-1 victory.
