Harrison Waid should really learn to pick on guys his own size.

The San Jose State punter was ejected from Saturday’s contest against Minnesota after the 6-foot-1, 183-pound Spartan started a fight with a Minnesota player that quickly escalated to involving multiple members from both teams. Waid entered the game for an onside kick and ran down the field in a hurry after his effort, but a Gopher had already scooped it up. As Waid was reaching the ball, however, defensive back Derrick Wells leveled Waid with a pretty good shoulder hit.

Waid was knocked down from the block, but he got up in a hurry and immediately went after Wells. Some pushing and shoving ensued, and the punter even managed to incite a mini-brawl before refs were able to settle things down. Waid was then called for a personal flagrant foul and was ejected from the game.
