Snoop Dogg’s Son, Four-Star Football Recruit, Wonders Why It Took So Long for USC to Fire Lane Kiffin

With so much drama near the LBC, it’s kind of hard to be the head football coach at USC. Or at least that’s what Lane Kiffin found out over the weekend after the Trojans dropped another football game in embarrassing fashion.

Kiffin unceremoniously lost his job following USC’s loss to Arizona State, and there were plenty of folks who thought it was a long time coming. One of those people was Cordell Broadus. If that name doesn’t sound familiar — it probably shouldn’t — Broadus is the son of famous rapper Snoop Dogg. Broadus is also a 2015 four-star wide receiving recruit, who is wondering what took so long for Southern Cal to cut ways with Kiffin.

“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago and USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like,” he told 247Sports.

Broadus, a California native, reportedly has USC among his prospective schools. So it goes without saying that Kiffin’s dismissal will at least help their chances in landing the young wideout.
