High school football in Texas lived up to its billing on Friday night.

During the final four minutes of the game between A&M Consolidated High School and Copperas Cove High School, the two teams combined to score 44 points, but they saved the most incredible moment of the night for the last play of the game.

Copperas Cove, Robert Griffin III‘s former stomping grounds, took a 41-38 lead on a field goal with only one second remaining. A&M needed a miracle to come away with the win, and a miracle is just what they got.

Copperas Cove decided to go for the squib kick to run the clock out, but their plan backfired when A&M Consolidated executed enough reverses and laterals for junior Derrick Dick to find an opening and take it into the end zone for the unlikely victory.

Check out the spectacular play to end the game in the video below.
