Tim TebowTim Tebow doesn’t have a job right now, but he isn’t exactly short on job offers.

Tebow, who failed to make the Patriots’ 53-man roster during the preseason, is currently hanging around the NFL free-agent market without much interest in his services. One NFL team apparently contacted him about changing positions, but the former Broncos and Jets quarterback doesn’t seem interested in a position change.

While no NFL teams are interested in signing Tebow to play quarterback, it appears at least one Arena Football League (AFL) team is looking to enlist his services. The Los Angeles KISS, which, you guessed it, is owned by the eccentric rock band KISS, offered Tebow a three-year contract on Monday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“As a former NFL player, the LA KISS will offer intense training and unwavered commitment to the former New England Patriots player, with the hopes to take him to the next level,” the KISS said in a press release.

“The chance for Tebow to improve as a quarterback is immense as the AFL is a pass-happy league with 90% of the league’s offensive plays coming from throwing the ball.”

The release also adds that the three-year contract would have the “possibility for Tebow to earn millions.” Although, money doesn’t seem to a driving force behind Tebow’s decisions. He’s much more interested in playing quarterback in the NFL again, which is something the KISS are at least claiming that they can help with.

Even with the potentially lucrative opportunity, it’s unlikely Tebow will sign any contract with the KISS or any other AFL team, considering he’s not even entertaining offers from the Canadian Football League (CFL).

The move is probably just a publicity stunt by the popular band — shocker! — to draw more attention to their team, but, with nothing better on the stove right now, Tebow might be wise to at least listen.
