Bruins fans are all too familiar with the Tim Thomas saga, from his political comments to the way he left the team with a year remaining on his contract. Time has passed, however, and the Bruins proved that they’re a capable — if not improved — team behind Tuukka Rask. For the Boston Bruins, the Tim Thomas era is firmly over.
