TV Graphic During Bruins Game Confuses Loui Eriksson With Andrew Ference (Photo)

For the first time since 2006, Andrew Ference will not be wearing No. 21 for the Bruins. Someone forgot to tell that to the graphics operator for Tuesday night’s B’s-Capitals game, though.

Loui Eriksson, who takes over Ference’s number this season, made his much-anticipated Bruins debut in the exhibition against the Capitals. A graphic shown during the game’s telecast correctly displayed Eriksson’s name, number and stats, but it replaced the winger’s headshot with a face that is very familiar to Bostonians.
