Fall weddings inevitably mean missing out on some football games, but one innovative — and dedicated — couple discovered a way to get married without missing out on a second of the gridiron action.

Before the Tennessee Volunteers kicked off at Neyland Stadium this afternoon, a Tennessee couple opted to combine their love of football with their wedding plans by having their ceremony during their tailgate. The newlyweds even got the wedding present they were presumably hoping for as the Vols went on to beat Western Kentucky, 52-20.
