Vincent Jackson May Force Patriots to Rearrange Their Typical Coverage Plan As Aqib Talib Shadows Top Receiver (Video)

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Buccaneers may be 0-2 on the season, but that doesn’t mean the Patriots will be able to walk through the team currently in the NFC South cellar.

The Buccaneers have top-tier players on both offense and defense. Vincent Jackson and Doug Martin present challenges New England has not had to face yet. Jackson is a much better, more physical receiver than anyone the Patriots matched up against in Buffalo or against the Jets.

Martin is a physical runner and is dangerous catching the ball out of the backfield. Due to Jackson’s impressive size, Aqib Talib may have to follow the 6-foot-5, 230-pound wideout across the field, including when he lines up in the slot. That will force Kyle Arrington to play outside, which he has barely done this season.
