Will SvitekFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots are close to being fully healthy entering Week 1’s matchup with the Bills.

Will Svitek was the lone players absent for the portion of practice open to the media. Svitek has been spotted in the locker room limping with a brace on his knee.

Rob Gronkowski was on the practice field again, participating in all tight end drills. The tight ends were out there doing blocking drills on Wednesday. Newly signed Matthew Mulligan had a large wrap on his arm that extended from his wrist to his bicep. He was participating in blocking drills, though.

The players were loose and having fun, despite practicing in full pads. Brandon Spikes and Chandler Jones were dancing to Michael Jackson‘s “Off the Wall.” Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett appeared to have a short race to the wall during warmups. It was unclear who won.

All the practice-squaders were on the field, including Josh Kline, who cleared waivers Tuesday night and was almost immediately signed to the eight-man squad.
