Adrian Peterson wouldn’t have been named the 2012 NFL MVP if not for his offensive linemen, and the star running back is showing his appreciation for his big guys in a very Minnesota kind of way.

Peterson gave his offensive linemen snowmobiles, all personalized with each player’s name and number on the windshields, to show his gratitude for all that they did and continue to do.

Peterson rushed for 2,097 yards in 2012, falling only nine yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson‘s record, which he set in 1984. A.P. had a lot of help leading him to become just the seventh running back in NFL history to run for 2,000 or more yards in a season, however, and some pretty awesome toys are the rewards for all of the hard work they put in.

Peterson may be off the pace to rush for that many yards again this season, but the snowmobiles can serve as inspiration to make history once again. The O-line could be receiving jet skis in 2014 — although, those might not get as much use in Minnesota.
