The questionable high hits keep on coming in the NHL, and there was another sketchy check added to that growing list on Sunday.

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky was the latest to push the envelope, as he was ejected Sunday against the Anaheim Ducks. The ejection came after Dubinsky went high on a hit against Anaheim forward Saku Koivu.

Dubinsky caught Koivu when the Ducks forward wasn’t looking, and Dubinsky appeared to deliver an elbow to Koivu’s head. Koivu left the game and did not return. It certainly appeared to be the type of hit that the NHL will look at and that there might be supplemental discipline coming Dubinsky’s way. That apparently won’t be the case, though. TSN’s Bob McKenzie tweeted on Monday morning that there will be no supplemental discipline for Dubinsky.
