Bon Jovi’s Son Wins Notre Dame’s Trick Shot Monday After Knocking Cup Over With Ping Pong Ball (Video)

The Notre Dame football team has a weekly tradition of team trick shot videos, where members of the team try to bounce a ping pong ball into a small Gatorade cup.

On Monday, players took the game to the Pop-A-Shot machine in the team’s lounge area, where they took turns as the shooter. No one was able to end the game until walk-on freshman cornerback Jesse Bongiovi stepped up. Rock fans might recognize Bongiovi’s last name — his father is musician Jon Bon Jovi.

Bongiovi took a few attempts at getting the ball in the cup, and eventually was declared the winner of Trick Shot Monday by default when he knocked the cup over and his teammates didn’t know how to react.

After being announced as the winner, Bongiovi said “I’ve never felt worse about winning something in my life.”
