Bruins Ready to Host New Division Rival Red Wings at TD Garden (Video)

Following a season-opening victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Boston Bruins will welcome the Detroit Red Wings to TD Garden on Saturday night.

Due to the NHL’s new realignment format that started this season, these two Original Six clubs will meet as Atlantic Division rivals for the first time.

The Red Wings present another tough challenge for the Bruins in their quest to return to the Stanley Cup Final. Detroit has made the playoffs in a record 22 straight seasons and boasts a roster of ultra-talented players that includes Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg.
