At this point, the man deserves a ring.
The 2013 Red Sox will be forever remembered for stunning late-game reversals, postseason comebacks and the eighth World Series title of the franchise. From marquee players like David Ortiz to utility players like David Ross, the Sox got contributions from every imaginable place throughout the season.
One of the most entertaining contributions came in Game 2 of the ALCS, when now-famous Boston Police officer Steve Horgan was captured celebrating Ortiz’ game-tying home run in the Red Sox bullpen. The camera was on Horgan once again as the Red Sox downed the Cardinals in Game 6, and the local legend didn’t disappoint.
