Cam Atkinson‘s first career NHL goal came against Cory Schneider back in 2011, and on Tuesday night, his nastiest goal came against the same goaltender.

The Boston College grad dazzled on the ice as the Blue Jackets took on the Devils, slipping the puck past the New Jersey netminder with a pretty slick backhander from the high slot. After fighting to keep the puck in the zone the entire shift before lighting the lamp, the 24-year-old forward chipped the puck in deep before getting it back and firing the beauty.

The goal marked Atkinson’s third of the season.
