Things got pretty chippy between the Panthers and Rams during the second half on Sunday. Rams defensive end Chris Long even got ejected for throwing a punch.
Long and Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith got into something of a shouting match after a rough tackle, and from there things escalated quickly. Both teams converged on one another near midfield and there was a big shoving match going on, which included Long throwing a punch at a Panthers offensive lineman.
The jab got Long ejected from the game and started up some hilarious taunting from Panthers fans and players alike. Tight end Ben Hartstock was the first to get in on the mockery, giving Long the old heave-ho. Some fans got in on the action, too, tossing a bottle down at the Pro bowl pass rusher as he walked off the field.
