Claude Julien Says He’s ‘Really Happy’ for Reilly Smith After Winger Scores First Goal in Bruins Win Over Panthers (Video)

The Boston Bruins beat the Florida Panthers 3-2 on Thursday night thanks to a late third period goal by Reilly Smith, his first as a member of the B’s, with just 59 seconds left in regulation.

Boston had to face former goalie Tim Thomas, who signed with the Panthers in the offseason after sitting out the entire lockout-shortened 2012-13 season. Thomas made 37 saves on 40 shots and took his third loss of the young season.

Check out Jamie Erdahl‘s interview with Bruins head coach Claude Julien after Thursday’s win in the video above.
