David Ortiz reinforced the idea that he’s a superstar with his amazing World Series performance. But if that wasn’t enough, Ortiz’s star power really became obvious shortly after the Red Sox’ Game 6 win over the Cardinals.
Ortiz, a celebrity in his own right, rubbed elbows with rapper Lil Wayne after Boston clinched its third title in 10 years. The two have exchanged tweets in the past, and Lil Wayne even took in a Red Sox game in Miami last season, but it’s always crazy to see sports and entertainment collide.
