Erin Andrews Gets Drenched With Gatorade Shower Meant for Jarrod Saltalamacchia After Red Sox’ Dramatic Win (GIF)

Jenny Dell and Jamie Erdahl have both been caught in the crossfire of a celebratory Gatorade shower this season at Fenway Park. On Sunday, it was a national reporter who took one for the team.

Moments after the Red Sox’ thrilling, come-from-behind, ALCS-tying victory over the Tigers, FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews caught up with Jarrod Saltalamacchia to get the catcher’s take on his team’s late-game heroics.

It was Saltalamacchia’s RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning that allowed the home team to walk off with the win, so he was target No. 1 when Shane Victorino snuck out of the dugout with the Gatorade cooler. The beverage did find its way onto Salty’s flowing locks, but Andrews, to her surprise, got the worst of it.

She clearly was not happy to be soaking wet on a 50-degree Boston night, but she was a good sport about it, hardly breaking stride as she completed her interview.

Check out the scene in the GIF and photos below.
