Fans Make Belly Button Piercing Wager on Bears-Giants Thursday Night Game

People make absurd and strange wagers on the outcomes of sports games all the time, but very few of them have been more weird than two friends putting a belly button piercing on the line during an NFL game.

According to Sports Illustrated, that was a bet made between two friends, one who supports the Bears and the other the Giants, for Thursday’s game in Chicago.

Even though it’s been a tough season for the Giants fan, Nick, who’s watched his team start 0-6 for the first time since 1976, he was able to win the wager because New York covered the spread in a 27-21 defeat.
