The Red Sox were held hitless through 5 2/3 innings on Sunday night, but they more than made up for it with some late-inning heroics.

After David Ortiz ripped a game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning, the Red Sox were able to stun the Detroit Tigers and finish off their comeback attempt in the bottom of the ninth. Jarrod Saltalmachhia singled home Jonny Gomes, sending the Fenway Faithful into a frenzy and prompting the entire team to mob Salty after his walk-off hit.
