Jose Iglesias has been a bit of a defensive wizard this season, but he got a taste of his own medicine Thursday night during Game 5.
Iglesias laid down a bunt in the fifth inning, and Sox starting pitcher Jon Lester hustled to glove the ball and ended up bobbling it, then scooping it up with enough time to make a hands-free toss to Mike Napoli at first base for the out. Iglesias disputed the call, but was ultimately sent back to the Tigers’dugout.
