Kessel Miley SpiltThe Toronto Maple Leafs can’t stop — at least, not since the team chose a Miley Cyrus single as its victory song.

The Leafs are 6-1-0 on the season after selecting Cyrus’ summer jam We Can’t Stop to be played in the locker room after the team wins, but no one on the team will cop to choosing the song, according to the Toronto Star.

“It’s certainly not my choice,” Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul told the paper. “Whatever. As long as we keep winning, I’ll deal with it.”

When reporters probed more into which member of the team selected the song, Lupul kept mum.

“I don’t want to say. You can probably figure it out.”

Apparently, Lupul’s denial led Star reporters to one Phil Kessel. Kessel’s response?

“It wasn’t my pick, but it’s all right,” Kessel said. “It probably was my buddy’s fault.”

Leafs center Tyler Bozak finally owned up on Twitter to choosing the song, saying “Absolutely it was!!”

After the revelation, one NHL fan tweeted at Bozak that he couldn’t believe the Leafs veteran would listen to Miley Cyrus. Bozak replied “Sue me, dude.”
